"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

As a young boy, I was discovered by a group of surprised Chinese fishermen when I was caught in their crowded trawling net in the Bering Sea. I lived as a stowaway and prized mascot until we docked in Shanghai, where I was taken in and raised by street cats. Have you ever heard a cat speak Chinese? It's horrible.
